Our Vision
Science and Humanities
Humanities programs would give a cutting edge to learners to develop their academic potential and also
would give advantage to them in terms of professional mobility. A person who is well-versed in the
subject of the humanities has an advantage to understand life, people and develop critical thinking
process. The Humanities programs have been structured to include general proficiency courses along with
the core fundamentals. This blend would enable learners to be job-worthy.
Management
Today, an ever expanding number of managerial personnel are required to meet the challenges of a
developing country like India. Management is the art of getting things done through others. Today’s
management education is becoming more and more important in that sense. The programs would develop
various skills in learners needed to become professional managers and entrepreneurs. There is a large
space available for learners to occupy in various functional areas of business organizations with
specialization in Strategy, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, HR and Information Systems. BBA is the
formative programme to branch into the specializations in Management studies.
Fine Arts
In a simple way, it is defined as
“Fine Arts is the study & making of visual works of art. It can be in the form of dancing, paintings,
photography, film, architecture, etc.”It teaches and prepares students to become artists and to follow
other practices that are associated with the making of art.We at SRM offer B.A in Bharatanatiyam and B.A
Music.
